While away for the winter, a pipe in one of the bathrooms in our Connecticut house burst. Our house watcher had a plumber stop the flow and repair the damaged pipe. We then had a cleanup company on the premises at which time the adjuster from Fireman's was on the job. She drew a plan and budget for the cleanup, repairs, possible mildew remediation and restoration to the damaged areas. She worked with our contractor and they quickly agreed on the necessary work and costs covered by insurance. Checks were mailed to us promptly.
